FdA debuts in Chicago with a feature recital at Constellation
Residence at University of North Texas for a collaboration with composer Marco Buongiorno Nardelli and recorder virtuoso Antonio Carrilho.
I will premiere Marco’s new pieces for flauto d’amore and electronics, and for flauto d’amore and recorder, as well as teach a masterclass to the flute studio.
Rear View Mirror Vol. II will feature premieres for flauto d’amore, strings and electronics by Nirmali Fenn, Howie Kenty, Erin Rogers, Clint Needham and James-David Stoker Johnsen-Young.

We present the FdA Project with a lecture-recital at the Flute New Music Consortium Festival at Stony Brook University, CT.

The Flauto d’Amore Project branches out of the classical / new music realm to venture into the jazz and electronics world.
We are so excited to present this eclectic show at Rockwood Stage 3 in Manhattan with a dream team: Mikael Darmanie, Chris Bill, Keenan Zach and Nathan Hudson, + yours truly.
Things will be different in this show, so be prepared to be immersed in a seamless continuum, in an underground intimate, hushed red velvet space, and to complete the experience with a drink or two.

Rear View Mirror is the first ever performance of new works written specifically for the flauto d’amore. The concert features the world premiere of Nathan Hudson’s Textured Air, Gleb Kanasevich’s don’t wake them up, Liliya Ugay’s Sweet Suite and Max Grafe’s Trio Sonata. Rear View Mirror engages composers of multi-faceted backgrounds and will provide the musical community with a new sound to explore and employ in contemporary music settings.
